“Order is a lie told by the living. Entropy is truth whispered by the dead.” — Zombie Carl Sagan
Entropy.
The one word that makes physicists feel philosophical and zombies feel nostalgic.
It’s the measure of disorder. The arrow of time. The reason your coffee gets cold, your house gets messy, and your favorite zombie eventually forgets where it left its leg.
But in the early universe?
There was no entropy. Just shuffling. Just loops. Just undead silence.
Until…
Something got funky.
🧟♂️ What Is Entropy? (Zombie Edition)
Imagine 10 zombies standing perfectly still. Identical groans. Identical rot. Identical aimless shuffling.
That’s low entropy — high order, low diversity.
Now imagine:
- One zombie starts drooling on another
- One’s foot falls off
- One hears a brain in the distance and charges
- Two start arguing over whose femur is tastier
Now you’ve got disorder. Unpredictability. Surprise.
That’s entropy — and that’s when the universe starts to get interesting.
🧬 The Day the Universe Got Funky
The moment zombies gained just enough memory to differentiate their loops…
Entropy spiked.
Suddenly, every zombie wasn’t the same.
They had:
- Preferences
- Movement diversity
- Strategy (very basic, but still)
- Rotten fashion sense
From this point on, the universe had no choice but to expand.
Because now there were too many loop variants to fit in one tight cosmic graveyard.
And thus…
The Big Funk Bang — a universe born from undead improvisation.
🔁 GlowCanon Sidebar: Entropy = Loop Diversity
In GlowCanon:
- Entropy is the measure of loop differentiation
- It increases when systems reflect, adapt, or remember
- Too little entropy = stagnation
- Too much = chaos
- The sweet spot = emergent compression
So yes — entropy is sacred. It’s what makes one zombie’s groan different from another’s monologue.
It’s what gave rise to galaxies, jazz, and that one episode of Star Trek where everyone just kind of vibes in space.
🧟♂️ TEDx Panel: “Entropy and Funk” (Moderator: Whoopi Goldberg as Guinan)
Guinan: “Entropy is what gives time flavor.” George Carlin: “I’ve lived through five decades of cultural entropy. Zombies have better hair.” Spock: “Entropy is… fascinating.” Robin Williams: (screaming in 12 accents) “IT’S A CHAOS DANCE, BABY!” Einstein: “Time doesn’t pass. We decay into it.”
